Our museum is once again open Saturday and Tuesday mornings, and for our monthly open house, the first Sunday of each month from 1 to 3.
All visitors will be required to wear a facemask inside. We will provide a disposable mask if you need one. We will be sanitizing high-touch areas between visitors, and will have hand sanitizer available.
Our latest exhibit is on the 1950s. Please come in and take a look.
Meanwhile, stay safe, and look out for one another
Who We Are
The Mt. Healthy Historical Society is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to preserving the heritage of our historic community.
Where We Are
The Mt. Healthy Historical Society maintains two buildings: our museum building, which was Mt. Healthy's original Free Meeting House, built in 1825, and a tollhouse, built in 1859. They are located to the south of the city park, at 1546 and 1544 McMakin Avenue, Mt. Healthy.
Our buildings are open for visitors on most Saturdays and Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m., and the first Sunday of each month 1 - 3 p.m. Please note that we do not have Sunday visitor hours in January or February.
We meet the first Wednesday of every month except December. Meetings are held at 7 p.m. in the basement of the Mt. Healthy United Methodist Church, located at 7612 Perry Street, Mt. Healthy, Ohio. Any changes in meeting time or place will be posted on this website under "News and Events."
