A new website has recently launched that examines the role of our area in the Underground Railroad and the Abolitionist movement. Take a look at Hamilton Avenue Road to Freedom.
Who We Are
The Mt. Healthy Historical Society is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to preserving the heritage of our historic community.
Where We Are
The Mt. Healthy Historical Society maintains two buildings: our museum building, which was Mt. Healthy's original Free Meeting House, built in 1825, and a tollhouse, built in 1859. They are located to the south of the city park, at 1546 and 1544 McMakin Avenue, Mt. Healthy. Our buildings are open for visitors every Saturday 9 - 11 a.m., and the first Sunday of each month 1 - 3 p.m.
